Dopo essere sbarcato su Android e iPhone, Microsoft Edge si appresta ad arrivare anche su iPad, il tablet più utilizzato.
Microsoft Edge su iPad
La notizia ci arriva grazie a un tweet di Sean Lyndersay, program manager della divisione Microsoft Edge. Lyndersay conferma che attualmente è in fase di test una versione di Microsoft Edge creata appositamente per iPad. Nel tweet è anche specificato che Microsoft Edge per iPad sarà disponibile a partire dal mese di febbraio per gli utenti TestFlight, che dunque potranno provarlo in anteprima e fornire preziosi feedback. Il rilascio per tutti avverrà successivamente, come avvenuto per la versione per iPhone.
Shh, don't tell anyone, but the iPad version is in internal testing and looking great. It'll take a little longer to bake, so we're going to roll out it to our TestFlight users early next month and get feedback from them before making it widely available. Thanks for using Edge!
